   NTEU Chapter 280 and its individual Executive Board members have signed on to the following Statement of Concern about the science of fluoridation. The goal is to stimulate a Congressional hearing on this national policy, which has not been aired before Congress and the public since 1978. Since 1978, a wealth of peer reviewed literature has been published on the carcinogenic, genotoxic and neurotoxic effects of fluoride, as well as on the efficacy of fluoridation. We believe that a full, open debate on the merits of the science underpinning fluoridation - and EPA's drinking water standards - is long overdue.

There are increasing health concerns in Ireland and the United States about total fluoride intake i.e. fluoride from all sources. These sources now include, toothpaste, mouthwashes, dental products, tea, fruit juices and foods and drinks processed using fluoridated tap water.
The union representing scientists, lawyers, engineers and other professionals at the United States Environment Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. stated:

"Our members review of the body of evidence over the last eleven years….indicates a causal link between fluoride/fluoridation and cancer, genetic damage, neurological impairment and bone pathology. Of particular concern are recent epidemiology studies linking fluoride exposures to lower I.Q. in children."

Comments:  Well I was thinking of traveling to your beautiful state,
but traveling is difficult for me especially in the U.S.  because of fluoridated water. 

  A few years back, the ignorant public voted in fluoridation
 [were she lives]
 (apparently our fluoride comes from waste generated in the making of fertilizers). 

Now I have to filter the water
 I   bath in,   drink    and have
 to   avoid   all     fluoridated   waters. 

 Whenever I accidentally get that water on my skin, I get a terrible red, dry, cracking rash.
Skin disorders are sky-rocketing in the area,
but hey it's a cheap way to dispose of hazardous waste under the guise of health.
Needless to say it's a great big pain in the butt for me.  There are few places I can go to and it's terribly embarrassing to have to ask friend to take me to the store to buy 5+ gallons of water to bathe in.
PLEASE don't put it in your water!

I would love to be able to travel somewhere!
